Paper Lungs (2026)

Sculpture, height: 32cm.

PVC lung model, aluminum bells, plastic&metal foot.

„My lungs are paper dry“ – out of this short line in Phum Viphurit’s lyrics for his song „Long Gone“ a musical object came to life. An imaginary instrument producing one single sound, which in fact appears only twice in the original song.

The sculpture later became the cover image for my first EP release titled „Songs without Songs“. It represents the idea of „favorite neglected sounds“, the starting point for the EP’s musical composition.
